Doshas are the vital energies or humor which control the whole body. The physiology of the human body is governed by these three vital energies.
We all have a unique combination of three Doshas that stay constant throughout our life and serve as a blueprint for our health. Learning our unique Dosha combination and understanding our constitution can reveal our natural inherent strengths and illuminate our greatest challenges.
It’s important to note that the word Dosha in Sanskrit translates to the English word ‘Vitiate’, meaning a crash or point of weakness where one may go out of balance.
According to Ayurveda, everything in existence is made up of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether/ Space. These five elements are expressed as three Dosha types in the human body: Vata corresponds to Ether + Air, Pitta corresponds to Fire + Water, and Kapha corresponds to Earth + Water. Each person has a unique combination of Doshas from birth. This is referred to as your body constitution.
Our special Dosha Package focuses on one’s dominant Dosha and how to keep it balanced. Guests can educate themselves on the different types of Doshas in our body and learn about the diet and juices that best serve their body constitution to bring it in a balanced state.
By knowing our dominant Dosha and constitution, one can more easily identify where and when we fall out of balance. We can also quickly and efficiently persuade ourself back into balance by enjoying Dosha balancing food, exercises and activities.
